 Work Based Training
 

Students are required to complete work based training as part of these qualifications.

The Work based Training will be conducted off campus with our industry partners.

“Commuters Café” at 595 Collins St Melbourne VIC 3000‎, is one of our proud industry partners. The restaurant/café is fully licensed and is equipped with commercial kitchen which caters for a wide variety of high quality foods and services.

The students will be trained under the supervision of highly qualified and experienced Chef. It is an ideal place for students to gain industry experiences and apply their skills and knowledge to the required Industry Standards and qualification outcomes. Students are expected to undertake the Work Based Training components of the qualification at stage 4 of the Training Plan.

D. Australian Culinary Federation (ACF)

The Australian Culinary Federation is the national organisation representing professional Chefs, Cooks and Apprentices.

Australian Culinary Federation membership provides members access to our vast network via the intrinsic web we weave, through state chapters, regional groups, social events, competitions, and interest groups, allows all members to network with colleagues and participate in the federations work.
